Nearly 2.8 million Finns will soon be prompted to move to electronic authority
Services|According to the Digital and Population Agency, switching to electronic authority saves time and reduces the environmental impact of paper mail.
Digital and Population Information Agency (DVV) wants to encourage people to move on to receiving authorities primarily electronically.
As a result, about 2.8 million people will be able to introduce Suomi.fi messages from next week as they identify in public administration electronic services. DVV will announce this in a news release on Monday.
Suomi.fi messages are a secure electronic mailbox that replaces an entry authority in the paper post.
Switching to an electronic authority will save time from both citizens and authorities as messages quickly pass to the right recipient, DVV Project Manager Annette Hotari justifies in the bulletin.
« At the same time, it reduces the cost and environmental impact of paper mail processing. »
Proposals for commissioning will be introduced on 12 May.
Suomi.fi messages will not automatically use anyone. It is up to the user to decide whether or not the authorities want electronically.
It is proposed for adults who are not yet in use.
The commissioning requires notifying and confirming the email address. The user receives a notification in his email when he has received new mail in Suomi.fi messages.
The deployment can be ignored if desired. Suomi.fi messages can also be introduced later.
After deployment, it is also possible to switch back to paper mail if you wish.
