Nathan Shachar: So Mossad conducted the operation in Iran
From the bases that Mossad’s Iranian agents established near strategic goals, a large number of drones and other precision missiles highlighted. From other places inside Iran, Israeli equipment intercepted and intercepted the internal communication of the revolution.
Of course, sneaking drones past Iran’s border controls is a challenge. But far more complicated is to bring them undiscovered against their goals – especially when the goals are Iran’s most protected military authorities and technological key figures. Iranian media usually emphasizes that the regime’s pillars rarely sleep at the same place two nights in a row and always stay in bomb -safe buildings. That their staffs are deep underground is known. The fact that so many leading Iranians were still above ground, in unprotected rooms with ordinary windows is astonishing, given everything that has hit highly placed Iranians and Iran-allied in recent years, in Beirut and in Damascus. Either way, the result shows that Mossad infiltrated the highest spheres of the Iranian military – either with agents or with electronics.
A person with experience in Israeli intelligence activities tells DN:
– The most difficult thing during such a broad attack is to coordinate the element of the operation so that everything happens exactly at the same time. If someone or something is attacked one minute prematurely, the alarm goes to the enemy and the ones you want to meet flee to the shelters.
Already on Friday night Released Mossad photographs and videos from within the war scenes, a departure from the regular organization’s usual policy. Critics wonder if it is Mossad’s chief manager, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who in this way wants to impress the general public and voters.
Now the big question is how Iran and the United States will act. Will Iran, as it has sworn to, attack the US bases in the region? And maybe go to war with Iran, which Netanyahu dreams of?
Almost a year ago, when Iran’s guard and most important allies, Lebanese Hezbollah, lost its most important leaders and its combat management centers, the surprise was total in the affected. For a number of years, Israeli intelligence services had fed pressure and experts with complaints of how difficult, yes impossible, it was to infiltrate Hezbollah’s hermetic command structure. This was not true, but the raised shiamilis in false security.
Something similar looks like to have taken place in Iran this time. If Iran’s air defense was destroyed last year, why were so many Iranian assets above ground? After all, it was not only nuclear energy plants that were attacked, but also weapons warehouses and missile ramps.
We now understand that all recent weeks’ media reports on difficult contradictions between Washington and Jerusalem were a charad. Israel never had any plans to surprise the United States or attack Iran against the will of the United States. Donald Trump was informed in advance and made no objections. The question now is how long he lets Israel continue to strike Iran. The intentions of Trump and Netanya House go well, after all, Trump hopes that the attacks will make Iran more compassionate during the nuclear calls with the United States, while Netanyahu hopes to spoil just such an Iranian -American settlement.
