N1 and Nova record record ratings: Citizens choose the truth – society

N1 was the most watched channel in the network almost every day during this period. Special peak was recorded 15. April, during the direct transfer of arrival of students-cyclists in Strasbourg, as well as the welcome of their colleagues in Kraljevo. On that day, N1 had 21.05% of Share and their program was followed by citizens in front of RTS in such as Košutnjak.

In parallel, the new one was also in Vhu views and positioned in third place, just behind the public service.

Teams N1 and new followed students on the road to Strasbourg. While the journalist is new, Radovan Saratlić, a bicycle with students, Reporter N1 Ksenija Pavkov, Ana Opačić and Emotional Getting in Hungary, Austria, the freedom of solidarity and warm welcoming of our students where they were rarely seen in domestic media.

Citizens choose free and professional media, and choose them massively. In days when our reporters did a job that no one else did – we were most watched.

In that light, it is especially worrying that Yettel, despite part of E & PPF Telecom Group, which has exclusive rights to the Distribution of United Media in Serbia – still refuses to include N1 and new to its network. According to the existing contract, Yettel has the opportunity to immediately allow access to all the minds of channels without any obstacles.

At the time of media freedoms are seriously threatened, denying citizens proving not only professional journalism still exists in Serbia, but that it is the most watched content, is a direct impact on the right to the public to know.

In such a context, any further delay or absence of the decision that these channels make available to users can open the suspicion space that presses that overcome purely market reasons.
