My Facebook account, forbidden
On March 28, 2025, Facebook suspended the use of my account on the grounds that the texts published there would have violated the « rules of our community ». It was not specified what the rules were violated, nor what are the violations.
On March 29, 2025, Facebook informed me that, after analyzing my appeal to the measure of suspension, the decision was made to use my account to be permanently forbidden, the account being closed without the right of appeal. This time it was not possible to find out what the rules allegedly violated and what were the messages considered to be violations. Therefore, a brutal, illegitimate, unmotivated and unprovocated decision.
The analysis of the messages on my Facebook page, many of whom were talking about the coup that took place in Romania by the act of canceling the presidential elections in the very course of their conduct, followed by the criminal prosecution of the one who had won the first round of those elections and the violation of his right to apply, to which a series of abuses are added to
Procedures specific to state terrorism, all declared by the CNA, with reference to the reports of the press, as « false news », and eliminated by the administrative decision of the CNA on the platforms on which they were published, lead to the conclusion that the indulge imposed by Facebook has made the effective application of the policy of the Romanian authorities involved in the state. This conclusion is reinforced by the fact that the measure of closing accounts on social communication networks for opinion offenders has been forbidden, even in these days, in the country of origin of Facebook. Facebook Romania branch, therefore, proceeds against the « rules of the community » of the parent company, Facebook USA.
Therefore, the Facebook Romania branch has resorted to a prohibited method in the USA, in order not to allow to reach the knowledge of Romanian citizens opinions contrary to the interests of the current power, which governs Romania by violating the Constitution and violating civil rights. This is therefore another samavolnic of this power that has become illegitimate, achieved through a service provider having as object the intermediation in public communication. The act represents a patent violation of freedom of consciousness and the right to free expression provided by
The Constitution of Romania, the European Charter of Fundamental Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights and, in general, of all international law instruments regarding human rights and the principles of democratic order.
I protest against this violation, in solidarity with all those who are victims of similar actions, and I reserve the right that when the political context will allow it, to act in all legal ways, so that those responsible be held accountable. Until then I will seek to use the still functional paths to bring my opinions to the interested ones.
