Last week the richest man in the world (with a blue eye) left the White House. For four months, Elon Musk led the Department for Government Efficiency, a pseudo-ministerie who he himself invented with which he announced billions of cuts. Now that he is leaving, the question is: what does he leave behind?

In this episode, Marike and foreign editor Merijn de Waal, who closely follows the tech billionaire, discuss how we should see Elon Musk next to Donald Trump. What do these two have together, and how will them bromance continue? How powerful is Elon Musk really? What was his goal, and what about his political adventure?

But Marike and Merijn also want to know what we can learn from Musks ambitious attempt to cut back on the US government. This attempt is also a response to substantial problems: the enormous American budget deficits and a great dissatisfaction with the functioning of the government.
