Musk had neither explained in his X-contribution which documents he referred to, nor did he present evidence of his claims. The name Trump also appeared in released documents for the Epstein affair, but the acting president was not accused of misconduct.

Trump had been open to the release of further files in the election campaign, but so far nothing has happened. After the escalation in the dispute with the US President, Musk claimed that the real reason for the lack of approval was that Trump occurs.
