Munich subway driver seriously injured after dispute at door

A man has on Wednesday afternoon at the Thalkirchen subway station in Munich Blocked a door and then seriously injured the driver. The man has the Onward journey prevented from letting several people get in, the police said. The driver had therefore asked the man to go out of the door several times – which is why the driver ultimately went to him.

The dispute had developed into a manual manner in which the man pushed the subway driver. This fell and seriously injured himself. The man had fled. Several Passengers would have called the policehowever, the officials could not initially determine the identity of the man.

According to the police, the subway driver was taken to a hospital. Because of the incident, there was impairments on the U6 line on Wednesday. (with dpa)
