Mucunski-Ibrahimovic: Every success of one of the countries in the European road region is good news for all others

The mutual subordination we express in the European integration plan is a good example of our determination to progress this path that will enable us to stability stability and progress towards a prosperous Europe that we are aiming for. Every success of one of the countries in the region of the European road is good news for everyone else.

This was jointly stated by the foreign ministers of Northern Macedonia and Montenegro, Timco Mucunski and Erwin Ibrahimovic, at a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Ibrahimovic, who is on an official visit to the country, first expressed his condolences to the tragedy in Kocani.

« Deported the loss of young lives and conveyed Montenegro’s support in repairing the consequences of the accident and the recovery of the injured, » said the minister and vice president of the Montenegrin government.

He noted that as two countries whose guide is European and Euro -Atlantic values ​​there is a large space for the excellent bilateral cooperation to be further intensified.

-Full membership of the EU is a strategic goal of Montenegro and a key foreign-political priority. That determination we share with Northern Macedonia in the context of contemporary geopolitilism circumstances, additional importance. I believe that as a state that has made progress most of the negotiation process, we can make a decisive step and serve as evidence that EU enlargement is related and the Western Balkans’ membership is achieved – Ibrahimovic emphasized, adding that every success of one of the states in the European road region is good news.

He also said that the European perspective is the strongest guarantor of further prosperity and stability, but also an additional cohesive factor in co -operation in the region, and in that context, he noted, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia can serve as an example.

The Montenegrin minister said that special attention was paid to the transport link between the two countries, while the Macedonian minister stressed that they had mutually concluded that economic cooperation did not monitor the level of political relations and that they had exchanged ideas on how to focus on exploiting existing potentials and opportunities in order to contribute to economic cooperation,

-We share the same attitude regarding the situation in the region, and we share the need for our strong focus on all levels -bilaterally, regionally and multilaterally, in order to maintain peace, stability and prosperity as a key basis for the benefits of all in our region. We have signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of diplomatic trainings between our ministries, which legally formalizing this segment of our cooperation-Mucunski said at a news conference.

He pointed out that a special emphasis at the meeting was put on the process of European integration of the two countries.
