MTF « Vojdan Chernodrinski » will be held from June 1st to June 13th in Prilep
« Man and society through the bold and/or smiling vision – or the magic of stage »
The 59th edition of the Macedonian Theater Festival « Vojdan Chernodrinski »-Prilep will be held from June sixth to June 13th, in which nine plays and five plays will be shown in the Macedonian Theater Festival « Vojdan Chernodrinski »-Prilep. The winners of the Lifetime Achievement Awards are actors Sonja Mihajlova. Snezana Koneska – Rusi and Goce Todorodki. Today’s assembly of the festival made a decision the award for music awarded to the festival will be adopted by Filip Stefanovski. The program will be held in Focus titled « Museum in Move » dedicated to Kiril Ristoski, Blagoja Risteski- Platnar and Blagoja Spirkoski-Dzumerko.
For this edition of the festival, the performances (both in institutional theaters and independent production) dominate plays that can recognize the director’s attitude and the need to create authentic theater production. With this selection of plays, said art director Dr. Ana Stojanoska, and given the current situation with the theater scenes in Prilep, and in the context of my four-year program « Returning Home », she tried to tell the current story of the modern Macedonian theater.
– That story shows how the man behaves in society and how that man is responsible for the course of society. « Man and society through the bold and/or smiling vision or the magic of stage » is the title of the selection in order to position the selected theater plays. In this edition of the festival, more dominant music creations can be recognized, which should be emphasized, rewarded and valorized – Stojanoska said.

-« Couples » by Ana Ristoska-Trpenoska, directed by Ivana Angelovska, Production of Drama Theater-Skopje,
– « Richard III » by William Shakespeare, directed by Kustrim Bekteshi, Production of Albanian Theater – Skopje,
-« Blind » by Morris Metlink and according to « Direl Identities » by Amin Maluf, directed by Cendrim Rihani, production of Turkish Theater -Skopje
-« Black Seed » by Tashko Georgievski, directed by Andrei Cvetanovski, Production of National Theater -Bitola
-« Storm » by William Shakespeare, directed by John Blondell, production of the National Theater « Vojdan Chernodrinski » -Prilep
-« Racin », playwright Saso Dimoski, directed by Dejan Projkovski, Production of the National Theater « Jordan Hadzi Konstantinov-Gin »-Veles and
-« All wonderful things » according to Duncan McMillan’s monodrama, from Anna
Ristoska-Trpenoska, directed by Nela Vitosevic, Production of National Theater-Stip
-« Pair-Raspar » by Neil Simon, directed by Nina Nikolic, Production of Comedy Theater-Skopje.
From the uncertain production, the audience will be able to follow the plays:

-« Snow » by Maksans Fermin, directed by Zoya Buzalkovska, Production of « Strich » -Skopje
-« All the most beautiful things » according to Duncan McMilan, directed by Dejan Projkovski, performance Igor Angelov, Production of « OHO Production »
-« Kazabalkan » by Goran Stefanovski, directed by Damjan Kostovski, Production of the Association for Development of Theater Production « Axis » -Skopje
-« La Magbeth » according to Shakespeare, directed by Shenny Mandak, performed by Hakan Daci, production of « hybrid » -Skopje.
Theatrical promotions, exhibitions will also be held at the festival.
