MS-MS defeated the Young Entrepreneurship Corporate Competition
The company Urri was chosen company of the year in the corporate company young entrepreneurs, JA Iceland. Urri produces a dog toy that is made from used fish networks, tennis balls and fish roots.
Five students from the Swimming High School stand at the company, which are Alma Ösp Óskarsdóttir, Birna Kolbrún Jóhannsdóttir, Ketill Guðlaugur Ágústsson, Selma Lísa Björgvinsdóttir and Aron Valur Gunnlaugsson.
Urri will therefore compete on behalf of Iceland in the European Young Entrepreneurship Gen-E 2025, which takes place in Athens, Greece in early July.
There were a total of 142 companies from 16 upper secondary schools that participated in the business center of young entrepreneurs. 30 companies reached the final. In total, thirteen prizes were awarded.
