MS in hockey U18 2025: The semifinal rival of Slovakia will be Canada
BRATISLAVA. Czech hockey players under 18 were very close to sensationally imitating the successes of their older national colleagues.
The Czech twenty at the last two championships eliminated in the quarterfinals Canada and there was not much to take care of a similar surprise to the U18.
In the quarterfinal duels with the winner of the A-group led the Czechs 1: 0 and 2: 1, but Canada was able to respond. Despite the shooting superiority, however, the match did not break in regular time, and so followed the extension.

This also means that Canada will be the semi -final rival of Slovakia, who fought for the medal for the third time in a row. In 2023 and 2024 it ended up just behind the stage.
The second semifinal pair is Sweden and the USA. « Three crowns » in the Nordic derby declared Finland 7: 2 and the home Americans also won the fifth match in the tournament, this time they conquered Latvians 6: 3.
