Motorists injured several police officers in the event of a chase

A spectacular police operation occurred in Ettelbrück early Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m. A driver withdrew a traffic control and then fled his vehicle. Several police vehicles then took the persecution.

There were several incidents during the hunting. In Lower and feud, the fugitive pushed against a parked car and slightly injured two police officers. On the route between Eschdorf and Hierheck, the driver tried to push a patrol car off the street, which led to a collision. Several police officers then had to be treated in the hospital.

Ultimately, however, the driver could be stopped. When checking the driver, it turned out that he had already appeared several times by the police and had a ban on driving against him.

A larger sum of cash and drugs was also ensured in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and is to be brought before an investigator on Thursday afternoon. For the duration of the operation, the N12 was closed between Eschdorf and here.
