The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) has been based on the RCC decision to cancel last year's presidential elections. Călin Georgescu's candidacy was rejected by the bulb on the background.
« Relevant to the Central Electoral Bureau is that the decision of the Constitutional Court, previously mentioned, analyzes and states regarding the manner in which the candidate whose candidacy is the subject of this legality verification, understood to refer to the conditions resulting from the sacrosanct formula of the oath submitted by the person chosen in the position of the person, the essence values of the rule of law. However, the statutes of the Constitutional Court of Decision no. 32 of December 6, 2024, compulsory statues for the Central Electoral Bureau, lead to the conclusion that, regarding the candidacy of Mr. Georgescu Călin, this does not meet the conditions of legality as the candidate, by not complying the rules of the electoral procedure, violated the obligation itself (Expressis which is based precisely on the correct, integral and impartial suffrage, according to the law, in the absence of which the foundation of the current constitutional order is altered ”, it is shown in the BEC decision.
