More than ten people / day are candidate for one chair in Daugavpils City Council

For elections, Latvia has been nominated for the second largest city in ten lists, which include 159 candidates. Given that 15 deputies should be elected to the council, there are 10.6 people in competition per councilor.

The leader of the party’s « Stability » in Daugavpils is previously from the « Solo » Solo, « Our Party » and Andrei Nariškin, director of the Park Hotel Latgola. The party promises to take care of the health and social support of the inhabitants of Daugavpils, to improve traffic infrastructure and to do other jobs.

Previously, Olga Petkeviča, associated with « Saskan », is at the forefront of the new party « Daugavpils – My Castle ». However, the list of two existing councilors – Vice Mayor of the Latvian Russian Union – Alexei Vasilyev, and previously represented by Mikhail Lavrenov.

The parties of the city mayor Andrejs Elksniņš « SARAVA, Latgale! » The list includes a number of council deputies – Deputy Chairman of the City Council Valery Kononov, Livia Jankovska, Igor Prelatov, Victoria Sporane -Hudoyan, Dmitry Valainis, Anatoly Grzibovsky and Natalia Kozanova. « Sarauj, Latgale! » It is convinced that « in the event of an economic downturn, local authorities must focus on the defense of regional interests, ensuring equal rights to social, legal and financial support for every resident and entrepreneur in the region, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, age, age or native language ».

Jānis Lacplēsis is the leader of the Joint List of the Latgale Party Party and the Latgale Party. The party pre -election program states that « only business development can be the basis for the growth of the city and the welfare of the population ».

The list of « Latvia for Development » as the first representative Igor Alexeyev is represented. Behind him is former deputy Janis Dukšinskis. The political ability of the first priority in the election program is the promotion of Latvianness in respect of diversity.

The « Together Latvia » party, the leader of which is the leader of the dance lecturer Dmitry Arestov, also starts in the city. The party promises to offer transparency in the City Council – open budgets, digital platforms for public control and mandatory deputies’ reference mechanisms for voters.

The leader of the National Union list is Aivars Broks, a former council deputy, Director of Stanislav Brock Daugavpils Music High School. The list stands for Latvian, smart, prosperous, loyal and civic -coaled Daugavpils.

Daugavpils County Party and the Latvian Green Party’s top guard are MEPs Pēteris Dzalbe and Ivars Skinčs. Political forces undertake to « realize an honest, equivalent, citizen -oriented policy to promote the development of the city ».

The City Council also wants to enter the Greens and Farmers’ Union (ZZS) with Roman Savicki, the head of SIA « Webhelp » as leaders of the list. The ZZS vision is that « Daugavpils is a united, diverse and sustainable city where every citizen feels safe, included and is able to develop, offering opportunities for both individual growth and common well -being ».

Student Nikita Anchipanov, on the other hand, is the leader of the United « sovereign power » and « Jauns Latvian » list. In the pre -election program, parties express that there is an urgent need to ensure the transparency of the municipal spending « by the audit of expenditure, » illuminating and preventing fraudulent action as the use of useless means « .

It has already been reported that most candidates for one deputy will be in this summer’s local elections in Jekabpils region, but the least people have chosen to stand in Ventspils County.

In total, 5,975 candidates, or 8.2 candidates per deputy, claim for 731 municipal deputy. 340 candidate lists have been submitted to the local elections, or on average eight lists per municipality.

Most candidate lists were submitted in Riga – 16, Jekabpils county – 13 and 12 in Jelgava.
