The ruling socialist party and the democratic party in the main opposition are among the favorites
The Socialist Party (PS), which is the leader of the current Prime Minister Edi Rama, ranks first in the surveys.
On the other hand, the main opposition party, the leader of the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in which Rama took over the position of prime minister in the 2013 elections, is among the favorites of the election.
The PD will compete with 25 political parties under the roof of the Great Albanian Alliance.
Rama emphasizes that its country’s integration process is one of the main objectives of its party, while the opening of all chapters until the end of 2025 and focusing the country’s full member of the EU by 2030.
Rama’s party PS also promises that civil servants’ salaries will be increased.
The PD, the leader of Berisha, aims to make reforms in tax, education and health systems by promising financial support to retirees and low -income families.
