More than 26 million euros / day will be available for civil protection purposes for civil protection purposes
Of this amount, 22 196,492 euros are planned from the European Regional Development Fund, while national funding – EUR 3,917,028.
The rules provide that money for projects will be distributed using limited project application selection. The European Regional Development Fund will be granted as a grant as part of the event. The event applies a territorial approach to investing in urban functions set out in the development programs of planning regions.
The aim of the event is to rebuild or renovate existing premises by adjusting its category III shelters for the protection of people from dangerous factors, reducing the effects of external explosion shock waves and chips arising from disaster, military invasion or war.
The event is planned to be implemented by 31 December 2029 by adjusting and equipping at least 500 objects for civil protection purposes.
To meet the requirements of category III shelter for their walls and ceilings must be made of reinforced concrete, blocks, bricks or other similar durability materials. Entrances shelters must be secured against explosion shock waves and crushed stone.
Shelter openings, including windows, must be provided with protective shield structures or other solutions.
The shelter must be located on the basement or underground floor or at the cap, if the underground part of the cap is at least 1.5 meters.
