Did anyone know this? From the first day, when Monika’s mother found the bodies of grandson in the fire, everything pointed to one thing: It was not a deliberate crime. It was a human breakup, so complete that it cannot be put into a paragraph.
Drama in Wola Szczucińska
The tragedy took place on May 9, 2024. in Wola Szczucińska, near Tarnów. A bonfire went out under one of the houses. As it soon turned out, two girls burned in it.
Olivia was 5 years old. Nadia 3. That day they were in kindergarten. They ate dinner in the afternoon. As investigators later said, they were laid. Suddenly the mother grabbed the knife.
There were no screams or witnesses. Only one SMS: « Children are gone ». Monika sent him to her mother. It was the girl’s grandmother who found the bodies in the fire and raised the alarm.
The evidence did not raise doubts
Investigators have already noticed traces of blood at home. Monitoring has registered how a woman is bloody bodies of children. She did it in silence, without emotions, as if she worked automatically.
Monika B., a 41-year-old resident of the village, was detained on the same day. In custody, it was impossible to contact her. She didn’t understand the questions and remained silent. Doctors quickly diagnosed a serious mental illness. The experts decided that the woman at the time of committing the act did not understand what she was doing and could not manage her behavior.
Specialists agreed
The court approved the so -called detection. The decision was confirmed in an interview with the RDN.pl portal Małgorzata Stanisławczyk-Karpiel, spokeswoman for the District Court in Tarnów. As she explained, the proceedings were discontinued because the expert psychiatrists and the psychologist agreed that the woman was insane. Instead of an indictment, the prosecutor applied for the use of a security measure.
It is not yet known which psychiatric institution Monika B will go to it until the doctors recognize that it is no longer a threat. Her health will be assessed every six months by the court.
