Moldovan: Games are made
Viorel Moldovan is still president of Rapid until this season. Recognized as a balanced character, never leaving the wires regardless of results and especially for the referees, Moldovan has not supported what happened on Sunday night, in Giulești, at the derby with FCSB, lost by 2-1.
No one ever saw Viorel Moldovan ever leaving in accusatory tirade who simply abolished the performance of the Radu Petrescu, FIFA Evalon, with many matches in the Champions League and the one in the lime cabin, another huge name, Ovidiu Hațegan.
Moldovan did not abstain and launched a very serious accusation on the correctness of this championship edition, saying very clearly that the games are made for FCSB to win the title again. He believes that there were no decisions taken erroneously neither by the Party Central nor in the Var room and exposed his ideas to the press immediately after the match.
« I would like to congratulate my players for the game performed. Especially in the second half. I was coming after two negative results. It was not an easy week for us to manage. The boys had a fantastic attitude. I knew that a match against the FCSB is an opportunity to react positively and they really raised the level.
Too bad the arbitration manner was detestable this evening and shadowed their evolution. And the result. I think we had to receive a penalty at Christensen. From my point of view I had 100%penalty.
I would not like to make appreciation from this point of view. Having such an arbitration manner does not help Romanian football. That’s why we don’t advance. I had a very good team in front, the international experience champion team, but the books are made to become a champion, it seems. Very good but to come and pull time in such a way, at least in the second half… The game fragmented a lot by the referee.
The VAR had to be noticed at the penalty phase, as notified in the first half. I am not clarified whether it was or not, in the end whether it had noticed there, it had to be notified.
It was a detestable arbitration and I am disappointed from this point of view. Our team deserves more and more respect. After such an arbitration, this gives me understanding who the books are made. I do not discuss about the arbitrator, but only about the arbitration manner ”.
