MobilPC e-shop operator left behind the debts

If you go to the Mobilpc.sk e-shop website about us, you will learn that « it focuses on consumer electronics and brings quality services to customers since 2001 ».

The fact that the online shop from Žilina is doing well is not only indicated by nominations and victories in the polls, but also its turnover. In the closet, however, hides a skeleton. In total, there was a change in its operator.

There might not be anything strange if the original one had not left one million debts. Quite typically, this step was most damaged by the financial administration and therefore Slovak taxpayers.

Found a place in the market

Most of the hundreds of Slovak e-shops are just small players. However, we cannot include Mobilpc.sk. Its revenues are calculated in millions of euros.

MobilPC began to write its story in 2001, when they opened the first in Košice at that time a stone shop. The owners did not only stay in the metropolis of the East, the next operation opened in Žilina.

In June 2005, Anton Turian and Milos Veverka founded the MPTECH eseročka, which they renamed MobilPC a few months later. As its name suggests, they devoted themselves to the sale of mobile phones, computers and computer technology. The company was able to use the market situation and soon opened an online store.

Business grew. While in 2012 MobilPC revenue reached EUR 655,000, two years later they exceeded EUR 4.5 million and exceeded seven million euros in 2016.
