MKL in the closing of the season – awards rain and famous personalities

Many winners of the season, who had a sweet reward for cheese sweat, came to MKL celebration all year round. Basketball Mohican, LKL Match record holder Mindaugas Lukauskis, famous twins Darjušas and Kishštof Lavrinovich, Valdemaras Chomičius and other famous basketball personalities have given attention and compliments tribute to their future heirs – MKL talents.

The best coaches of the league, players of all ages and positions, statistical categories, school leaders, supporters and others were also focused.

The party began with the word of the hosts.

« This season of the league was exceptional to us because we, as an organization, have set extremely high goals. We may not fulfill all, but we have made great efforts and I hope it was visible.

Mindaugas Balčiūnas, President of the Lithuanian Basketball Association, emphasized that MKL is not in vain called the foundation of the whole Lithuanian basketball. This is the only league where the entire generation is playing – the first playing here not only grew up, but probably have been able to become grandparents. After changing them, their children have become their own parents, and they were replaced by the youngest generation of children.

« The leagues would not only be without players, but without coaches, leaders and sponsors, » he said.

And in fact, the representatives of the companies contributing to the league – Lidl Lietuva, Žemaitijos pienas, Rūta, Bleir Logistics, Valentis, ACME Grupė and many more.

They presented gifts to the most useful basketball players and basketball players of the season.

The artist Nombekas Augustė was delighted with her melodious songs.

The celebration culminated in the presentation of an interesting documentary about the longtime MKL coaches « Talent generation ». During his premiere, viewers traveled for a few decades of the league and saw images and shots about the daily work of the prominent MKL coaches and their colorful personal stories. Not only the guests of the event not only smiled, but they also had a sensitive tear.
