Meeting at Maximus Palace with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, he had in the morning Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

The Ecumenical Patriarch conveyed the wishes and blessings of the Mother Church and the greeting of the High Priests from Fanari, while pointing out that « it is a special joy we are in Greece again, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the temple you gave us and we now have in the center of Athens. And on this occasion to see your beloved face again, your partners, to exchange thoughts on common issues and to return to our headquarters. «

For his part, the prime minister, addressing the Ecumenical Patriarch, pointed out that « your visit always gives us courage, courage, the power to continue moving on the difficult path of all our homeland. » Mr Mitsotakis described the work of the Ecumenical Patriarch as very important and said, among other things, that « you are coming for a very pleasant moment you mentioned, but every visit is an opportunity to be able to discuss the wider developments that concern our region. Issues that I know you have both an opinion and the courage of opinion, which I think is overall appreciated. «

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew: I bring you the wishes and blessings of the Mother Church, the greeting of the brothers of the High Priests from the Fanari. For me and for my accompaniment it is a special pleasure to be in Greece again, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the temple you have given us and we now have in the center of Athens. And on this occasion to see your beloved face again, your partners, to exchange thoughts on the common issues and to return to our headquarters.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis: Panagiotis, is your visit that always gives us strength, courage and courage to continue, and we will go on the difficult path of our country’s overall rebellion.
