A government spokeswoman and member of VMRO-DPMNE EC Maria Miteva said tonight that the party is committed to reform and progress and will come up with the best candidates whose names will soon be announced.

-It is expected that the party will have the names that will be VMRO-DPMNE candidates next week or immediately after it. Regarding the coalition capacity I can say that VMRO-DPMNE has an active coalition that has been in the elections and is members of 24 political parties. It is a stable coalition, none have left it and there is a possibility that it may be increased in the local elections – Miteva told Alsat Television.

The government has invested a lot in the municipalities last year, no matter which political party the mayors are. -VMRO-DPMNE as a political party will come up with really the best candidates, present the program that will be compulsory. That is the principle we work and I think that principle will really bring a landslide victory, Miteva said.

She also referred to the strategic agreement with the United Kingdom, pointing out that it means strengthening strategic cooperation with developed Western countries, such as the United Kingdom, and on the other hand will bring economic benefits to the country. Miteva informed that there are large investments in the area of fast rail and health care.

– What has been announced so far is that we will start with really large investments, in the area of fast rail and in the area of health, ie the construction of the Kicevo hospital, reconstruction of that in Stip, reconstruction of that in Tetovo. Of course, there is the part of education, where it is a new Faculty of Medicine in Stip and a dormitory with 200 beds. Before we reach the financial framework for which it is expected to be announced, I must emphasize that it is not something that will mean withdrawal of funds and advance payment from the state, but it is about concrete projects that will follow the payment after the project is completed – Miteva explained.
