Miteva: For the first time in history, Scientific Bases « Web Off Sayens » and « Skosop » become free

After serious investment in education, through reform laws, to infrastructure improvements and salaries, is followed by a new measure in education that now focuses on science. Finally, with today’s Government’s decision to adopt the amendment of the Program for Scientific -Research Activity for the first time in history, scientific bases web of Web of Science and (Scopus) become free for all state universities, MANU and South East European University.

Faculties, scientists and young people, as Miteva pointed out, will be able to use these renowned scientific bases for free.

-With this, the most prestigious magazines and papers become available to everyone. The Ministry of Education and Science assumes this responsibility and will provide access. This opens up the opportunity for final progress and competitiveness in science – she added.

The government at today’s 77th session adopted two key laws that are part of the reform agenda whose deadline is June 2025.

Miteva said that it was the Law on Electronic Communications and the Law on Security Networks and Information Systems or more specifically for the first time a law is dedicated to cyber security. This, as she points out, are two key reform laws that show that the government is opening a new chapter in Macedonia’s digital transformation.
