Koekie, the hangover that survived a fall of no less than 20 meters deep in a well in Bekkevoort, can leave the hospital.
After exactly one week in Hospi Akuut in Kortenberg, Koekie was allowed to pack his suitcases and continue to strengthen at the Cattitude vzw in Leuven. « The skin around his feet will still need a lot of care to heal, » says Vanessa Maes of the VZW Cattitude. « We would like to thank everyone very much for the support. Without that help we could never achieve this. »

It is a small miracle that Koekie survived the fall. « Thanks to the healing and loving hands of a warm team of assistants and veterinarians of veterinary practice Akuut, Koekie was able to go up again, » says Vanessa. « We are so grateful for the determination to get him through. »
