The two people behind the wheel were minors who are not yet eligible for obtaining their driver’s license. Whether it is joyriders who took the cars without permission to take a ride is not clear.
A liberation team from the Genk fire brigade came to the scene to get the passengers out of the cars. They did not have serious injuries to the accident, but had to be taken to the hospital.
According to our information, four to five young people were slightly injured. The local police Carma came to the scene to make the findings and prepare the necessary PVs. Because it is about minors, nothing can be communicated about the circumstances and ages of those involved.
