Minnesota Monster killed the Secretary of State: ‘He believed that God had sent him to the mission …’
He claimed for himself that he is a security expert, a preacher, and a soldier who has passed the world’s hardest battlefield, including Gaza and Congo. He presented himself as the owner of the security company, to own a fleet of vehicles for street fights.
« I know how to fight and preach, » he told the people around him. It was a big lie.
He is Vance Luther Boelter, 57, and is suspected of one of the most serious crimes in Modern history of Minnesota – the murder of State MP Melissa Hortman and her husband and wounding by Senator John Hoffman and his wife.
Boelter was arrested on June 15 at his estate in Green Isle, after an intense search, the largest ever organized in that federal state. Police confirmed that it was a politically motivated attack, aimed at prominent Democrats. Boelter’s resume looks like a scenario of a bad thriller. The self -proclaimed Praetorian Guard Security Services director has created a false image of himself for years. According to US media, he was convinced that he was called from God to fulfill the mission on earth.
His acquaintances say that this is a hardly disturbed person who lived in the imagination.
Boelter has worked in the food industry for years and in recent months as a funeral. And it seems that he was fired at that place because, just a month before the crime, he announced on Linkedin: « I am open to any job. » He was, as his former colleagues say, the man who sank.
Boelter’s instability was not just professional. He was financially in front of a breakdown, exhausted by multiple missionary trips to the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he preached and recorded emotional speeches about American morals and « spiritual decadencies ».
He sent his friends disturbing messages. On the day of the attack, he wrote a message to one of the friends: « Maybe I’ll be dead soon. » Four months of rent paid in advance – another sign that he was preparing for the final act.
Governor Minnesote Tim Walz stated that it was a « politically motivated assassination ». Police found a manifest in Boelter’s vehicle in which dozens of democratic politicians and advocates of abortion rights were listed. His posts on social networks and sermons reveal extremely conservative attitudes, especially towards abortion, sexual minorities and « moral collapse of America ».
