Minister of Agriculture Sergeant made a statement due to the opening of the new Presidential and Republican Assembly campuses – Cyprus Newspaper
Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş stated that the new Presidential and Republican Assembly buildings that strengthen the institutional capacity of the TRNC, make the state structure more visible and solid, as the state has risen as a symbol that declares that the state has not only manages the present but also has a will that shapes the future.
Çavuş said, “This contemporary campus, in which the Turkish Cypriot people stand on their feet, does not hand over their will to anyone, is fully owned by the sovereignty, not conditionally, is the concrete expression of our determination”.

Sergeant’s statement is as follows:
“As the Turkish Cypriot people, we witness a turning point today. The new Presidential and Republican Assembly buildings, which strengthen our corporate capacity, make our state structure more visible and solid, are not only an architectural structure, but the sign of pride of the struggle for independence and sovereignty of our people. The support of the Turkish Republic is not only a partner of the Turkish Campus; We owe gratitude to the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who holds his promise safely. This campus will be a center where not only the state officials, but also our people will receive better quality public services, that decisions will be produced with transparency and the will of the people will be represented by honor. Every decision to be made here will be part of our determination to live freely in these lands. On this meaningful day, he commemorates our saint martyrs, mujahideen, Mehmetçiks, community leaders and architects of the founding will with mercy and gratitude; We walk to the future with the determination of keeping their relics alive. The Turkish Cypriot people are no longer not only written by history, but an actor that gives direction. And this state will exist forever with the will of the people, as it was established with the will of the people.
