Milorad Dodik from Israel after the arrest warrant: ‘I am returning to BiH next week …’
« I will continue with my activities. I have some more important activities in the coming days for Republika Srpska and in a quiet way I will return to the RS next week, » Dodik said, quoting him by the Public Service of RTRS.
He participated in Jerusalem in a conference dedicated to the fight against anti -Semitism organized by the Israeli Ministry of Diaspora.
Dodik traveled to Israel on Tuesday from Belgrade, and the circumstances under which he crossed the border despite the internal arrest warrant that was issued to him are still the subject of the BiH Border Police Investigation.
After answering Israel, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH asked for an international arrest warrant, and the Court of BiH accepted it on Wednesday and their order was sent to the Interpol Secretariat in Lyon, where all the assumptions are now being fulfilled that the arrest warrant has become a final and as such is forwarded to all countries.
An international arrest warrant was also issued for the President of the RS National Assembly, Nenad Stevendic, who also crossed the border, but returned to BiH, where he is still located.
Dodik spoke little about anti -Semitism and Holocaust at the conference in Israel, mentioning the Jasenovac concentration camp, claiming that 500,000 Serbs were killed there, saying that Ustashas in the NDH did crimes worse and Nazi, and praised Donald Trump’s policy, which he declared « the liberator of the world. » He also took the opportunity to complain about the problems he had with the judiciary in BiH, claiming that it was all « a prank called Muslim nationalism and chauvinism towards Serbs. »
« They want to prevent me from going to visit, to meet with statesmen and to areolate me in this way, and then to say that I cannot meet with anyone. It is a Sarajevo ‘Pasjaluk’ (Jal), which is nothing unknown. It is up to us to fight. I have no intention of giving up. I have enough years of my life to win the adequate status of RS, » he said.
