Military exercises without troops were held in Narva

It looked on Thursday from the side of the defense forces “Bold Monsoon”. They began on Monday, March 24, and end on Friday, 28th.

Basically, as a partner providing military accommodation and food, the expenses are carried out by the organizer of the exercise.
“Bold Monsoon” is the annual exercises of the 1st Infantry Brigade. They take place in the “Tactical teaching without troops” format, this type of development of actions involves the use of cards. Participants in the exercises all this time are at the headquarters, which this time is located on Saldino 16. They work out their actions at almost a table using office equipment.

The next large exercises that will be held throughout Estonia are informed by CityPrava adviser to crises, this is “Kevadtorm” (“Spring Storm”). Kevadtorm will take place after about a month, April 23 and 24. Narva in this case will be involved in the evacuation teachings of the Miljon Miksi, which will be held a few days later – April 30. These are exercises on the evacuation of the North-East District of Territorial Defense.
“They are already familiar to the Narvites, since they took place in us in 2023,” says Alexandra Grunvald. “Then they were organized in a sports complex on Rakvere Street. During these teachings, registration of people, the arrangement of evacuation points, maintaining and termination of work were worked out.
This year, “Miljon Miksi” will be held at the station.
In general, according to Alexandra Grunwald, the number of exercises of the defense forces of Estonia related to Ida-Virumaa, remains this year at the traditional level.
