Mikhail Kylvart: Extraordinary elections are needed
In a situation where the aggregate support of parties of the government coalition dropped below 19%, it is obvious that the reform and Eesti 200 party does not have a mandate to manage the country, the only opportunity to overcome the crisis of democracy is to hold extraordinary parliamentary elections, the chairman of the Center Party Mikhail Kylvvvart said.
“The fresh results of the surveys show that the support of coalition parties continues to fall and is less than 19 percent, that is, the government supports less than every fifth person,” Kylvart said. -At the same time, under the leadership of Prime Minister Kristen Michal, decisions are planned for which the mandate was not asked for voters. Now the Party of Reforms is actually solely rules, but the society is not in accordance with this, and there is only one decision to get out of the impasse – extraordinary elections. The prime minister should have enough responsibility to take this step. ”
According to Kylvarta, the coalition negotiations and statements of coalition deputies Riigikogu give reason to worry for the future of rural life in Estonia.
“The Center Party does not support the plan of the Leaders of the Party of Reforms and the Eesti 200 Party to liquidate the Ministry of Regional Development and Agriculture and redistribute its functions between other ministries,” Kylvart said. – The coalition has a very modest advantage of votes, and in order to solve this problem, they want to apply the “Policy Room Politics” that has become familiar to government parties, abolishing the parliamentary commission on rural life. This speaks of the attitude of the reform party and Eesti 200 towards regional politics and people living in rural areas. ”
The policy of the Government in the field of energy, which includes the plan to pay 2.6 billion euros of subsidies to the developers of the naval windows, according to Kylvart, serves the interests of individual entrepreneurs and will ultimately lead to an increase in electricity accounts for consumers.
“We are talking about the implementation of an ideological initiative – a“ green transition ”, and not about the project in the interests of the inhabitants of Estonia. The construction of ground windmanships also has come to a standstill, as they are planned much more than the volume of Estonian consumption. At the same time, they want to close the shale industry, which provides us with energy safety and affordable prices for electricity, ”he said.
Kylvart recalled that the reform party before the elections to Riigikogu promised not to increase taxes, however, having come to power, she arranged a tax hell.
“Recently, Prime Minister Kristen Michal promised that taxes would no longer increase the“ security tax ”-a temporary measure, but last week Michal said that high taxes would remain for a long time. That is, the reformists continue the false policy, and the tax hell is not yet visible, ”said the leader of the Center Party.
