The homeland was and will continue to be a live tissue composed of history, tradition and common aspirations. The homeland does not change, does not leave and does not sell – it defends and is being built! Macedonia, though Mali, never gave up its identity. Today, when some are trying to redefine the family, we try to protect that basic cell and value. The family is our foundation, our homeland is our foundation. I believe this is the path we need to go, said Prime Minister Christian Mickoski from Budapest.

He noted today in his address at a conference of conservative political action that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is one of the leaders who promote values in Europe and for whose active role should be supported and welcomed.

-Let us not forget our friends who protect these values. Our friend Prime Minister Viktor Orban is one of the leaders who promote values in Europe and whose active role should be supported and welcomed. It is a policy of solid grounds and politics where the word is a word, solid as a rock. And I thank him for that. And the winds of changes launched by the administration of President Trump is a policy of growing and restoring hope- said Mickoski.

According to him, patriotism is not a retro-idea, but the only way to a prosperous future.

-Living in times, when false narratives are trying to erase or relativize our national identities, we are here to confirm the opposite. Patriotism is not a retro-idea, but the only way to a prosperous future. First and foremost- God- said Mickoski.

He added that at a time when Christian values are attacked every day, we will never give up the spiritual heritage of the apostles.

-At a time when Christian values are attacked, ridiculed and excluded from public discourse every day, we are more than confident: we will never give up on the spiritual heritage of the apostles, the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius who brought literacy and Christianity between the Slavic world. Second – the homeland. It- our native lump- is not just some kind of geographical term- said Mickoski.

As he underlined, we have learned through our centuries -old history that freedom is paid with sacrifices.

-Today, in the spirit of cooperation, we deeply appreciate the support of our strategic partners, as is Hungary -whose example inspires us to further represent the values we believe in. And finally – the family. The most sacred institution that God created. Today, when some are trying to redefine the family, we try to protect that basic cell and value. The family is our foundation, our homeland is our foundation. Because we know very well that every nation is as strong as its families – added Mickoski.

In his address, he urged our spiritual resistance, sovereignty and traditional family.
