Mickoski: There is no more room for improvisation, all cases that have been « enclosed » in the past should be considered again
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that besides opposition SDSM leader Venko Filipce, he was ready to talk to the leaders of the opposition parties represented in parliament, as it was a joint project voted by all.
-We are waiting for the names to be submitted by SDSM in both sectors -the rule of law and in the area of energy. These were the two topics on which Venko Filipce expressed a desire to participate with their representatives in the drafting of reform laws, as they are essentially part of the reform agenda. When I get them, maybe you need to send that question to them. Otherwise, he asked for a meeting with me, when the other political parties from the opposition would also talk to them in the same direction. The reform agenda is a joint project, it has been jointly voted, so I expect constructiveness from all polyical stakeholders in parliament – Mickoski said to a journalist question about meeting with Filipce, whether he expects constructiveness from him in the reform agenda and when the first steps can be expected.
Mickoski congratulates Filipce’s re -election as SDSM president, but did not want to comment on his statement that the government had done nothing for these 10 months
« Considering that this is a government rally, I would congratulate him on the re -election and wish him successful work as president of SDSM, » Prime Minister Mickoski said.
Asked about talking to Filipce about the cases of Besa Trans, the Modular Hospital and Laskarci, he said he thought they needed them to be re -examining, because he said, they seemed to have been « stunned ».
-When we talk about objective investigation and responsibility, then you will need to look at all those cases that have been quickly completed in the past, or folk -speaking, take a look at them again. Let’s see if and how justice has been reached for which, at least in some cases are completed only in the first degree, they are still not completed in the second degree. If we really want a reset then we will have to do so at all levels and see responsibility in those cases – both in the Laskarci, and in Besa Trans, and in the Modular Hospital … There are many questions that need to be answered if we really want to account, because those cases where they have ended with zero and 34 in the case. The Prosecutor’s Office through the Ministry of Interior for an informative conversation – the Prime Minister said.
He pointed to the idea, that is, the initiative within the parliament, to establish an Inquiry Committee on the Kocani case that would also look at the cases of Besa Trans, the Modular Hospital and Laskarci.
« We and our parliamentary group has suggested and standing for expanding these three other cases, so there can be public debate, to talk, to open all the arguments and all that is suspicion to be presented there, » says Mickoski.
He confirmed that there is political will to support to clear up these three cases.
« With everyone, there is no more room for improvisation, we must be cleared up with everyone to observe it, otherwise we will have no progress. These things will be repeated – the prime minister is convinced.
Current government officials, ie responsible police officials and other institutions, can be expected to be expected to be expected, and whether they would resign for moral reasons, Mickoski said it was the prosecution’s job.
-The investigation is led by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, not the government, and this is a question for the Public Prosecutor’s Office. If the prices that I should resign for moral reasons I have no problem doing it – said Prime Minister Christian Mickoski.
