Mickoski: The Law on Fair Representation will pass by the Government by June 24 at the latest
The law on equitable representation is ready and at the latest by June 24 will pass to the Government, then be sent to the Venice Commission and if everything is fine we will submit it to parliament, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
– I expect one of the next sessions of the Government, at the latest June 24, to pass and then send it to the Venice Commission and we will seek urgency for urgency. And to say they and then, if everything is okay to release it to Parliament so that it can be brought and not to have a topic of politicians trying to cause ethnic polarization – said Mickoski in tonight’s appearance in Alsat’s central diary.
The prime minister dismisses opposition accusations of ethnic and party jobs by the government.
– There are no Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs, Roma, Bosniaks or others, but that there are citizens of Macedonia, because we are a multiethnic society. Institutions, I guarantee you that they employ people according to their needs. Somewhere maybe more Turks, somewhere maybe more Albanians, Serbs, somewhere Macedonians, Roma, somewhere Bosniaks, depending on the needs of the institutions. I disagree with what the Albanian opposition is saying, because except for the national topic and ethnic division there is no other topic. On the other hand, the Macedonian opposition accuses such employment and party division…- said Mickoski.
