Mickoski: Everyone will answer, whether VMRO – DPMNE, SDSM, DUI, Macedonian, Albanian, Muslim, Christian
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said tonight that anyone who violated the law would be responsible for the tragedy in Kocani, whether VMRO – DPMNE, SDSM, DUI, Macedonian, Albanian, Muslim or Christian. That's how it will be, Mickoski announced, and for the other cases, the « Modular Hospital » and « Laskarci » will be opened, will go to the end « either the mafia that has lasted for decades, or the people and the state will win. »
In tonight's Sitel TV, the Prime Minister also said that he supports and justifies citizens' rallies because of the death of 59 people in the fire, but still emphasized that injustice must not build justice.
According to the Prime Minister, Kocani Mayor Ljupco Papazov, the day he decided to resign, said he was available for everything he needed in the investigation, and that if he had wrong, he would respond and would not run away.
-I know what stage are the cases such as the « Modular Hospital », « Laskarci » and I expect the prosecution to expand the investigation very clearly, as well as to identify not only the bus driver or the manager of the legal entity, but to see and in which examination Center said that the technical center was functioning, Making public procurement, why the cable is to blame, made the project and whether some elements may be missing, where I think they are missing. For all this there will be an answer, there will be a breakthrough. We will not leave anything. I told you, we left, there is no stop, now we go to the end. Either they or we, or we will survive, Macedonia and the citizens on the one hand, or the mobsters – noted the Prime Minister.
For some of the public criticism that he was visiting the injured in the fire, Mickoski reiterated that he had not entered cameras, nor did he intend to do PR. He respected the protocol and believes that as prime minister he should have supported the citizens, to show them that the government with all its resources is behind them. It is human, he said, to reach out, to talk to someone and to be encouraged.
-For citizens' rallies, it is normal, there are people who have been angry at everything that has happened for decades, and it was a reason for us to have such consequences that claimed 59 lives. As long as you rally peacefully, democratically, I support and justify them as long as the fight against this type of criminal – administrative criminal mafia. I cannot justify anarchy and storm, I understand revolt, anger, criticism, but through injustice to build justice must not. In terms of Papazov, I know him personally and I can say all the best for him, I know how he felt that day and the next day he was determined to resign, he said « for everything I need to be available, if I have been wrong, I am here, I will answer, I will not run away ». I know that he thinks, but I hope this will not be an action on a « interruption » and so we have to behave. We must not allow the anarchy to judge, there are organs for it – said Mickoski.
The prime minister praised the prosecutors that they immediately went out on the ground, and that they were working with the Ministry of Interior.
-In the fact that we have big differences with the work of the prosecutors, this time they showed great mobilization, the morning at eight o'clock a large team that came to Kocani was mobilized, I immediately got work, I have information that the group has been expanded and working after 16 -17 hours. These three days MoI and JPO work together to identify a reasonable suspicion of responsibility, to secure persons and I think it is expanding, but also to show indiscriminate. I am happy that despite the differences with the work of the PPO there is a synched effect between them and the Ministry of Interior – the prime minister said.
He announced that the investigation would not only remain in this case, but that it would spread to the whole territory. Regarding the revolt among the citizens, Mickoski does not expect any « Serbian scenarios ».
-I'm phoccurian at what I do now, this Government has received legitimacy from a large number of citizens and has an almost two -thirds majority in parliament. If we do not succeed in the battle of the mafia, I will break this government and go the Elections because I haven't succeeded, they defeated me. If I fail, I will leave, or do something or not everyone. Such a moment came, that is the task of this generation. There are no scenarios here, Serbian, such or such, there is a scenario here, or we will win the battle or we will all come out defeated and there will be no state – said Mickoski.
While sending this message, the prime minister, alluding to how deep and everywhere, corruption has been penetrated in the country, noting that the head of the Urban Planning Department in the Municipality of Mavrovo – Rostuse has been caught in the bribes for documents from a party. « We are grieving all these days, and that dead cold is agreed on 13,000 euros, it takes them nothing, » Mickoski said.
