Mickoski announces budget rebalance
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said today that, due to the local elections, a budget rebalance will probably be at the end of June.
Answering journalist questions as part of a visit to the Municipality of Stip, Mickoski noted that no analysis has yet been made, but it will be done after which a proposal will be made to the MPs.
– It is logical to have a redistribution of funds in the month due to the implication of budget funds as a result of the projects submitted by the municipalities on the second call, as it is a total of 16 billion denars. For the rebalance, we have local elections this year. It is logical to have a rebalance at least once a year. Last year it was at the end of July, but this year it will be a problem because the local elections will be announced and therefore it will probably be at the end of June. Analysis has not yet been done, it will be made to come up with a proposal to the MPs. It is important that government measures are producing results, we have deflated for two months in a row, growth of industrial production in the first quarter unique in the region and one of the few in Europe, we have a positive number in exports in the first quarter, I expect a result to overthrow the projections of international institutions. There are several parameters Cooper drives a clear picture of the trajectory in which we need to move macroeconomically and they will be covered in the rebalance – said Mickoski.
