Mickoski and Filipce tomorrow in the Government
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and opposition SDSM leader Venko Filipce will meet in the government tomorrow at 2 pm.
« According to public communication and initiatives and demonstrated readiness on both sides, a meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 2 pm between Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM President Venko Filipce -the Government said.
In a statement to the media in Stip, Mickoski expressed his readiness to meet with Filipce, who today called for political and social dialogue.
Filipce said at a press conference that after the tragedy in Kocani, the citizens reacted with outrage and anger, the system is not functioning properly, and all political parties have the fault. The areas where a systemic approach needs, according to Filipce, are – education, health, justice, environment, partisanship and politicization.
Prime Minister Mickoski, meanwhile, said this was a serious topic to be discussed.
– If there is a plan as they announced, I am ready to receive the SDSM President to explain the plan, to hear the plan because they are serious times, I am a serious man, serious things are at stake and at least what needs to be done is on the public stage. If there is really a plan and a desire to help, I will be available at any time, I will redistribute my schedule, at midnight, after midnight, when I say then to listen to his plan and see if something can be resolved in that regard. But if the plan covers a « Stabi » approach, as it was in the past during the corona then I cannot accept such plans – said Mickoski.
