Michelle Obama denied rumors that her marriage was with the former US President Barack Obama in danger.
The former first lady of America was not with her husband on several major events, among other and inauguration of the new President Donald Tramp in January and bury the former president Jimmy Carter, which further flattened the assumptions to be divorced.
Not mentioning these events, Michel Obama is in a podcast Work in progress which leads an actress Sofia Bush, said she can now use her time as « adult and mature woman. »
She said people couldn’t believe she decides on their own, but « they have to say that she and her husband are divorced. »
He says she felt guilty of having to ‘skip’ some events.
« It’s a thing that women we’re fighting for – fear that we will disappoint people.
« People can’t even imagine myself making decisions, so they started spreading rumors that my husband and I was divorcribed, » she added.
« I chose to do what is best for me. Not what I had to do, nor what I thought other people wanted to do. »
Her absence from the inauguration of President Tramp was interpreted as a stop of tradition.
However, it is not to stay out of politics.
