Meteolux warns of heat, thunderstorms and gusts of wind at the weekend
Saturday starts slightly cloudy and friendly in Luxembourg. But around noon, there is increasingly the formation of source clouds that can lead to thunderous showers locally. With these thunderstorms in particular, precipitation quantities are possible up to 15 liters per square meter.
In the afternoon, the weather remains changeable, with a continuing risk of showers and thunderstorms. In the night of Sunday, moderate thunderstorms are very likely, accompanied by gusts between 45 and 55 kilometers per hour.

Meteolux has given a yellow heat warning for Saturday between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. The daily maximum temperatures are widespread to 30 to 32 degrees Celsius, which brings with it noticeable heat load.
Thunderstorm warning on Sunday
Sunday also begins with an unstable weather conditions. In the early morning hours, weak thunderstorms are possible. After that, the situation calms down a bit – it remains cloudy, with only a slight risk of horror during the day.
A yellow storm warning applies to the entire country from midnight to 10 a.m. Meteolux warns between 20 and 30 liters per square meter of 80 kilometers per hour in a short time. The weather situation remains tense – an increase in the warning level cannot therefore be excluded.
