Messages from Romania at the death of the pope
The death of Pope Francis took out the Romanian politicians between eggs, Easter and lamb. The prime minister and interim president of Romania have already commented:

I learned with deep sadness about the passage to the eternal of his sanctity, Pope Francis. In these moments of mourning and pain, I convey sincere condolences to the Catholic believers in Romania and all over the world, as well as to all those for whom Pope Francis was a spiritual light and a source of hope.
It was a symbol of humility, compassion and tireless commitment for peace and justice.
His sanctity was also a close friend of the Romanian people, whom he valued for the depth of faith and spirit.
Sad day for Christianity, at the beginning of the enlightened week. Pope Francis remains for people from all over the world, regardless of confession, the tireless defender of peace, of suffering and spiritual communion!
I was privileged to meet him last year at the Vatican and thank him for the support offered to the Romanian community in Italy!
