The incident occurred at night from Friday to Saturday (from 4 to 5 April) in the very center of Warsaw. The Municipal Guard Patrol from the 1st Local Department intervened at ul. Jasna.

Silver Mercedes stood parked on the reserved site for people with disabilities. Behind the glass was a disability card – but the most important data, including the expiry date and markings, were completely invisible.
When the officers came closer, They realized quickly: something doesn’t fit here. Then the driver arrived at the car. Confused? Rather … prepared for history. He claimed that the card belonged to his grandfather, and that « she probably slipped out of the shelf » by the glass, which meant that the date or data was not visible. Unfortunately – after asking to show it, everything seemed. False like a kiosk!
False, Alibi and … the police
Suspicions were confirmed by a patrol, who – as it turned out – knows how hardly anyone. He is an experienced polygraph. He immediately sensed the fraud. The card was an ordinary skeleton. She didn’t have a hologram. Verification elements were simply printed on a home printer.
City guards called the police in place. The Warsaw Police District Headquarters is still doing the case. It is not known whether the man has already heard the allegations, but as the spokesman for this unit, young asp. Jakub Pacyniak – in similar cases art. 270 of the Penal Code.
– This provision says that who, in order to use as authentic, fakes or processes a document, or uses such a document as an authentic, is subject to a fine, restriction of liberty or deprivation of liberty from 3 months to 5 years – explains the spokesman.
However, that’s not all. Just parking on site for people with disabilities without authorization means a fine of PLN 800 and 6 penalty points.
And an attempt to make an alibi from grandfather? – Something like this does not go through a monitored city – say the guards.
