MEPs from Latvia in the first place again demands Silina’s resignation / day
The Saeima’s vote to express mistrust to the Prime Minister will take place on Thursday, June 5.
It has already been reported that Siliņa passed the vote of confidence a week ago, but a spokesman for resignation, Member Ainars Slesers (LPV), who criticized the prime minister for not coming to the Saeima, promised to submit a request for resignation again.
Opposition politicians wanted to overthrow Silina because she believes that her government is unable to deal with a number of major problems in the country effectively.
MEPs believe that the government led by Silina suffers from lack of ideas and is unable to respond properly to economic challenges, including inflation, food prices and well -being. The government’s inefficiency in reducing bureaucracy and major infrastructure projects such as Rail Baltica and airBaltic management is also criticized. MEPs also point to a growing government debt over € 20 billion and believe that this poses a real threat to insolvency.
Previously, the leaders of the coalition Saeima factions at LPV’s resignation request related to the pre -election time submitted to LPV and stated that the request had no reason.
