Paweł Sz. He arrived at the house of Polish studies early in the morning. He waited for him to leave home. When the 46-year-old opened the door, he shot at her. After a while he fired a second shot. The woman managed to say: did you do something to me? There was no struggle. Nobody saw that the former student had visited her before. Nothing about the teacher’s problems with her former pupil is known by colleagues from work and friends.
Ewelina O. was a fantastic teacher appreciated by her students and their parents. – She always had time for students, they could ask her for help. Paweł Sz., Whom she taught, had no problems with her. He had positive grades with her – recalls Arkadiusz Majer, director of the School Complex No. 2 in Szamotuły.
The prosecutor’s office checks the motive of the teacher’s murder
Paweł Sz. He graduated from school in 2000. Ewelina O. was his tutor for three years. The man repeated the third class due to numerous absences. This was what influenced his classification until Thursday. « Ewelina was a secretive person, we didn’t know much about her private life, she guarded him a lot, » emphasizes Majer. None of the colleagues have ever heard that she complained about the former student or mention him.

Perhaps this event affected the deterioration of his mental state. – Indeed, we came to information that the perpetrator was struggling with mental problems. We are currently at the stage of securing medical records to be able to confirm possible treatment – says in an interview with « Fakt » prosecutor Łukasz Wawrzyniak, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Poznań, which explains the reasons for the tragedy. At the moment, no information allows the former student to connect with the teacher.

– We will check the billing of phones, text messages, maybe in them we will find the answer to the question about the reasons for this tragedy – says prosecutor Wawrzyniak. It is known, however, that the former student was interested in his former tutor. A photo of Ewelina O. was found in the bag he had with him during the murder. Paweł Sz. He arrived with three pistols. After shooting the teacher, he committed suicide. He had one more pistol in the bag.
