Movement I know is a negotiating team for cooperation with political parties and it is normal that we are already starting talks with our government partner VMRO – DPMNE within the government partnership. In the part of the local elections, the party leadership is considering an independent performance at the level of council lists, and in the part of cooperation for the election of mayoral candidates in the municipalities, we are considering cooperation and mutual support with VMRO – DPMNE. However, of course, the candidates of I know will be candidates independent of I know, supported by VMRO – DPMNE and their coalition. This was stated today at a press conference, movement spokesman Nikola Memov.

So far, the VMRO -DPMNE coalition has been discussed exclusively, « For Better Macedonia ».

Asked whether support and coalition with another party is possible, he responded that the final conclusion and co -operation for such support in the local elections would have been decided by the party’s organs and bodies.

Asked if incumbent Health Minister Arben Taravari should be out of the government’s cabinet, after the turmoil in « Worth », he said the attitude of I know is very clear, that it is an internal issue of the « Worth » coalition, and staying by Taravari’s party depended on the prime minister’s stance.

Memov also referred to the conclusions made at the last session of the Central Board of « I Know » – « For Our Macedonia ».

– Starting tomorrow, as part of the « Together We Know » campaign, in the next 60 days the party leadership, all elected and appointed officials from the I know, will visit all municipalities in the Republic of Macedonia and hold meetings with all members, supporters, but also citizens, in order to directly meet the problems, for the upcoming local elections. As always, I know the movement, it builds its policies in a transparent way, democratic and in cooperation with the citizens – said Memov.

In the Movement for the Local Elections Movement, the main focus will be on solutions for better local life – urban plans, infrastructure projects and transparent municipal budgets management.

The meetings, along with the citizens, would have performed an appropriate analysis, followed by the identification of quality staff – candidates for mayors and candidates for councilors, who can make a real difference at the local level.

In this regard, four caravans were formed, which, as was said, would be led by President Maksim Dimitrievski, Secretary General Goran Mincev and the two vice presidents – Vesna Bendevska and Pavle Arsovski.

– I know a decision to hold a second election congress of the movement, where the party president will be elected, as well as the Central and Supervisory Board. The congress will be held in the second half of June. A decision has been made to form the city organization of the movement, and the election conference through an appropriate procedure that will begin proposals in the Skopje municipal organizations will be held at the end of May – he said.

A decision was made to form a negotiation team and eventual cooperation with other political parties for the upcoming local elections. The team will be led by Goran Minchev, the party’s secretary -general, and will be attended by vice presidents Vesna Bendevska and Pavle Arsovski. Former party spokesman Nikola Memov was elected director of the Center for Communications and Analytics.

– Movement I know so far has formed more than 50 municipal organizations in the Republic of Macedonia. The number of members is increasing intensively and this is a clear indication and a strong indicator that citizens recognize the policies of the movement. It proves that movement is the fastest growing political force in the country – underlined memo.
