Members of the gang of Gagiev reduced the deadlines due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for a number of episodes

As it became known to Kommersant, the Military Court of Appeal revised the resonant criminal case of the criminal community of Aslan Gagiev (OPS Dzhako). 90 lawyers of 12 defendants managed to remove part of the charges, including participating in the OPS, due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. However, the lifelong terms for two main killers involved in the deaths of 27 people, as well as severe punishments to two former officers of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who helped them, did not change the appeal.

The appeal of the lawyers of the Appeal Military Court, in the Vlasikha near Moscow, was examined since October last year. According to the card of the case, the interests of 12 convicts represented 90 lawyers, whose procedural opponents were performed by three prosecutors-from Moscow and the Office of the Prosecutor General’s Office in the North Caucasus Federal District. Note that I investigated Resonance business The North Caucasus Glavk of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), in which a large reorganization is now being carried out.

During the meetings, some of which were closed, the defenders insisted on the illegality and unreasonableness of the verdict issued by the defendants in the summer of 2023 by the second Western District Military Court (Moscow).

Then Inal Zasseev, Oleg Alymov, Ivan Bagaev, Mil Gobozov, Goneri Dzheev, Igor Dudiy, Cherman Zangiev, Dmitry Kodoev, Viktor Pronin, Andrei Sankin, Eric Tautiev and Ruslan Yurtov, depending on the role of each of them, were recognized as the organizers or Ukrainians of the criminal community and gangs who committed murders, attempts on them, enclosing Weapons and ammunition were illegally stored for law enforcement officers, abduction of people and illegally (Articles 210, 209, 105, 317, 126 and 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

During the investigation and trial, it was found that the OPS created the criminal authority of Aslan Gagiev (Jaco), whose criminal case in connection with the protracted extradition from Austria was allocated into separate proceedings.

His militants, according to the investigation and court, committed custom -made killings in North Ossetia, where the community was originally based, and then switched to the metropolitan region.

As the state prosecutor insisted, Inal Zasseev and a former criminal investigation officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ruslan Yurt, who was at the same time deprived of the title of junior lieutenant of the police, received life imprisonment by the court sentence. On their account, according to the investigation, there were 27 murders.

In particular, Inal Zasseev shot the chiefs of the Office for Combating the Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia Mark Mezaev, the criminal investigation department of the Republican Ministry of Vitaly Cheldiev and his son, and also committed 13 more murders, including participants in competing gangs.

On the account of the operative of Yurt, there were 11 corpses. It was proved, for example, that in 2011, he shot the former owner of the German Wadan Yars of Andrei Burlakov at the Knowberry restaurant in the Leningrad Avenue of Moscow, heavily wounding his familiar Anna Etkin. Investigators and prosecutors proved that Ruslan Yurt killed Alexander Leonov in Moscow and the investigator of the TFR transport department.

Moreover, the customer of the crime was the former employee of the prosecutor's office, who also received a term, but in another process.

The police lieutenant colonel Viktor Pronin and Colonel Andrei Sankin, who served in the Bulat Sobr then the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, found the court guilty of participating in the OPS and the gang, as well as in aiding in the murders committed by militants and abductions, sentencing to 12 years of strict regime, respectively.

Oleg Alymov and Goneri Dzhioev Received 20 and 16 years of conclusion for the murder in 2004-2005, the owner of the National Capital bank Dmitry Pelnik, shareholder of Sudbusinessbank and Credittrast bank Alexander Slesarev and the chairman of the Board of Kutuzovsky Bank Oleg Novoselsky. As established in court, Mr. Slesarev, along with family members, Killers shot along the way to the temple in the suburbs, and the bankers of Paletnik and Novoselsky were abducted in Moscow, killed, drowning the bodies in the Moscow channel.

Interestingly, the member of these and a number of other reprisals was an employee of the operational-search department of the metropolitan police, Maxim Nikolaev. However, at the request of Jako he was shot in 2010. The rest of the defendants also did not avoid impressive terms.

The Court of Appeal, according to Kommersant, after the proceedings that took six months on March 20, excluded from the sentence due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, the charge of participating in the criminal community and storage of weapons, which has already been released.

In this regard, a number of convicts were reduced from several months to a couple of years. So, Goneri Gioev received a discount on the quarter.

The exclusion of the OPS did not affect the convicted special forces, since they were charged with a third, heavier part of this Art. 210 of the Criminal Code – using the official position. The changes were not affected by life sentences, as they turned out to be a partial addition of punishments mainly for murders. After the sentencing entry into legal force, the militants convicted not to the highest measures of punishment may petition for the conclusion of contracts for participation in his. According to Kommersant, they already made two killers from another gang of Jako, who killed a man in North Ossetia, and then shot a mourning procession at his funeral. One of the killers heroically died during the operation in Ukraine, and the other continues to fight with the Armed Forces.

Protection plans to appeal the decision of the Court of Appeal. It also now considers the complaints of Jaco's defense. For organizing the OPS, murders and attempts he received life -life.
