The meeting between Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and the Minister of Health and Leader of the Alliance for Albanians (AA) Arben Taravari, who, according to the government, spent a constructive spirit. Talks continue and the future of AA’s functioning will be known this month. Prime Minister Mickoski confirmed at the meeting the previously stated positions.

Mickoski announced today that he wants to hear the option of what option Taravari is choosing – « The Road to Rule of Law, a struggle for just society and functioning institutions » or will join « those political forces that have been criminalizing and destroying the state for years ».

Answering journalist questions during a visit to Stip, Mickoski said that « with or without Mr. Taravari the government is stable, solid and with a large majority » and that it is up to him and his party members to decide on one of the two options.

As he said, « Sarrowing games are transparent games, easily identified and know and are often hit by those who make them. » In a statement yesterday, when he announced the meeting with Taravari, Mickoski said he wanted to hear « whether it is true that there is an agreement between the Taravari and DUI party » to support the elections, saying it is unacceptable for him.

Arben Taravari, meanwhile, said in Tetovo that they remain on the decision made at the party’s presidency in the October local elections to perform with special councilors « and probably their own candidates for mayors in the municipalities where they are coming out », but will hear the prime minister’s position and will continue their position.

The meeting follows the turmoil and the coalition is worth Taravari’s AA after the other three partner parties disagreed with special councilors in the election. They accused him of negotiating with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti and that he himself excluded himself. Meanwhile, the three parties of the worth (alternative, Besa and the Democratic Movement) have announced that the coalition will act as a political entity.
