Izet Mexhiti described the first Deputy Prime Minister and Environment Minister Izet Mexhiti as a historic day for the state today’s signing of the agreement between the governments of Macedonia and the United Kingdom regarding the partnership for the realization of infrastructure projects.

– This is a historic day for the state, signing a financial agreement with the UK, which strategically solves and invests in many areas such as rail traffic, education, health. We added this projects of ecology. For a long time for decades, we have been trying, we are struggling to solve the problem of hazardous waste on several points across the country, especially factories from the former Yugoslavia, where waste is risky for both nature and citizens. This is a new opportunity to solve that problem once and for all, which will contribute to a healthier life and the nature of our country – Medziti said after signing the agreement in Winston Churchill’s room in the British Government’s Business and Trade Department, MIA’s rapporteur said.

Mexhiti was part of a government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, including Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska and Director of Macedonian Railways and Infrastructure Sinisa Ivanovski.

Paraf of the agreement, on behalf of the Government of Macedonia, Deputy Prime Minister Nikoloski, and on behalf of the United Kingdom, British Minister of Economy and Export Gareth Thomas.

The Government of the Government of Macedonia is made available for five billion pounds for infrastructure, health, education, technology, innovation and environmental projects.
