Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met in Brussels at dinner with the President of the European Commission Ursulo von der leyen and the Presidents of the European Council Antóniem Costo. The main topic of the conversation was reforms that Serbia could accelerate the path to the EU.
« The state must implement EU reforms, in particular, to take decisive measures for the freedom of the media, the fight against corruption and the electoral reform, » Ursula von der Leyen said after the meeting. She is convinced that the future of Serbia is in the EU. Costa also estimated that progress was needed in three areas. He added that tangible achievements in areas that can directly benefit the Serbian people are at their fingertips.
