An American journalist, who illuminates the war in Ukraine, Katie Livingston reported that Marianna Budanova, the wife of the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, went to the United States in December 2024 to treat the effects of chemical poisoning.

Details: According to the journalist, Budanov was unnoticed to the United States in December 2024 – more than one and a half years after its poisoning, in particular arsenic and mercury.

- UP sources in November 2023 reported that the wife of the chief of GUR Kiril Budanov was Marianna diagnosed with heavy metals poisoning. It was noted that she was alive and underwent the first stage of treatment.
