In the semi -finals of the weight category up to 55 kg, Jacob Nedzinskas will compete with Norwegian Gabriel Haften, while Kaunas Cornelius Kerpe (up to 55 kg) will try his hand at Denys Bulchenko in the semifinals.

Kalvariškis Simonas Puniškis (up to 60 kg) will fight Frenchman Moussa El Achiu in the semifinals, while Kaunas Dovydas Kerpe (up to 60 kg) will meet Latvian Nikolay Zamjatins in the semifinals.

Later, there will be two semi -finals, where Lithuanians will compete with each other. Rapolas Koncius (up to 65 kg) in the semifinals of Šiauliai will try to defeat Giedrius Bačianskas, a Valvalian, while Kėdainiai Lukas Petraška (up to 70 kg) in the semi -final stage will box against Kaj Bogušis in Vilnius.

Palanga Matas Naumtsev (up to 70 kg) will fight against Norwegian Stefan Ogorelic in the semi -finals, while Vladimir Abramov (up to 75 kg) from Vilnius will try to cross the semi -final barrier in a meeting with Frenchman Dylan Hourchmi.

Two Lithuanians will fight in the semifinals of up to 80 kg in the semifinals – Dovydas Vasiliauskas, a Panevėžys resident, will meet Latvian Nikita Prohovsky, while Dominykas Ragauskas, a Vilnius resident, will box with the Netherlands athlete Bogdan Litavrin.

Lithuanian athletes will also be monitored in the semifinals of the weight category up to 85 kg – Martin Moisejenko, a Vilnius resident, will box with Norwegian SriSoslav Mykyth, and Vadim Ivanov, a Vilnius resident, will meet Polish Cajetan Bajzert.

Daniel Steponavičius will compete in the semifinals of up to 90 kg in the semi -finals, meeting with Kroatu Josip such.

Dan Pozniak (1939-2005) became the first Lithuanian Olympic Champion in 1968. In Mexico. He became three times European Champion (1965, 1967 and 1969), once in the European Vice Champion (1963), four times the USSR champion.

1995 D. Pozniakas was recognized as the best Lithuanian boxer in the last 50 years and the third best Lithuanian athlete of the 20th century. During his career, Mr Pozniak had 217 battles, of which he won a 203 career, Mr Pozniak finished in 1970. He was later a judge of the international (Aiba) category.

After the restoration of Lithuania’s independence, he was the first president of the Lithuanian Boxing Federation. 1994 On the occasion of the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania, he was awarded the 1st degree Medal of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas.
