Meaningful Visit to President Tatar from Galatasaray Fan Association – Cyprus Newspaper

Galatasaray Fan Association President Talat Karapelit, Vice President Mustafa Green and Board Member Taha Can Gurlek, President Ersin Tatar visited his office. During the visit in a friendly atmosphere, Galatasaray’s championship in the 2024-2025 season due to President Tatar, congratulated the Yellow-Red delegation.

President Tatar was given detailed information about the activities carried out by the Galatasaray Fan Association and the projects planned to be implemented in the near future. Within the scope of the visit, both the current status of the association and its long -term targets were discussed.

Speaking during the visit, the President of the Association Talat Karapelit gave information about the championship festival which will be held with great enthusiasm on May 25th. Karapelit stressed that the festival is not only a celebration, but also a environment of association that will enable the Galatasaray spirit to be felt in every corner in the TRNC. “While organizing this festival, our only aim is to make Galatasaray enthusiasm feel to all our fans. As an association, we are working with great devotion and effort for this,” he said.

Another important issue that came up during the visit was the “Galatasaray House” project. Expressing that the current association building has become inadequate, Vice President Mustafa Greenlik said that they need a new association building due to the increasing number of members and the scope of the activities. “Our current building is no longer in a structure where we can carry out the activities of the association in a healthy way. Our members do not fit, we have difficulty in realizing our activities. A new association building is no longer a dream for us, it is a necessity. We are waiting for support from our President.

Taha Can Gürlek, a member of the Board of Directors who took the floor during the visit, gave information about digital transformation activities, one of the biggest vision projects of the association. Gurlek, thanks to digitalization not only to the fans in centers such as Nicosia or Kyrenia, they can reach Galatasaray lovers all over the island, he said. “With our digital transformation project, we will strengthen our communication channels and increase the revenues of the association.
